Montanans For Tester Announces $5 Million Haul in Q2
BILLINGS – Today, the campaign for Big Sandy dirt farmer Jon Tester announced raising more than $5 million in the second quarter of 2023, a staggering show of support that topples records for Tester’s previous best off-year fundraising Q2.
Montanans for Tester also announced today that Jon Tester has received donations from Montanans in all 56 counties across the state, demonstrating the strength of Jon’s grassroots coalition that spans from Montana’s most rural communities to its Big Seven cities.
“Montanans from all 56 counties donated to Jon Tester because they know he relentlessly fights for our Montana values every day,” said Shelbi Dantic, Montanans for Tester campaign manager. “From our rural communities to Indian Country to our cities and towns, Montanans are fired up to keep the dirt farmer from Big Sandy in the United States Senate.”
Montanans for Tester’s off-year Q2 by the numbers:
- Jon Tester received donations from Montanans in all 56 counties.
- Montanans for Tester ends Q2 with the largest off-year amount it has ever had, reporting more than $10 million cash-on-hand.
- The $5 million haul follows Tester’s record-breaking Q1, and is the most money ever raised in an off-year Q2 in a Montana Senate election.
- 97% of donations to Montanans For Tester were under $200.
- In Q2, Montanans for Tester received more than 11,500 donations from more than 6,000 Montanans.
