BILLINGS – New reporting from independent news outlet Morning Consult found that Senator Jon Tester is one of the nation’s most popular senators.

Today’s Morning Consult polling shows 61% of Montana voters approve of Jon’s job performance, making Jon the 8th most popular senator in the entire country. Of the top ten most vulnerable incumbents running for re-election in the Senate, Jon leads the list by 15 points.

As the U.S. Senate’s only working dirt farmer and a third-generation Montanan, Jon built a reputation for working across party lines to defend the Montana way of life. This polling reflects Jon’s broad coalition of supporters – Democrats, Independents, and Republicans – who know that he is relentless in standing up for Montanans.
